Q: Is there a discount if I pay cash for a vehicle?

A:No, whether you pay cash, finance or lease a vehicle all transactions are treated equally.

Q: How much money down do I need to buy a vehicle?

A: It depends on each individual situation. Most customers can get a car without putting any money down, but credit issues and trade inequity may make it a necessity.

Q: How long will it take to get a new Toyota if I want to order one?

A: It depends on the specific model. Sometimes we are able trade dealer to dealer and get what you are looking for in a day or two. But, if we order a specific new Toyota it takes an average of 60-120 days to get to the dealership. Supply shortages due to Covid-19 have made the wait times longer!

Q: How soon can I go to the license branch after I buy a car?

A: It takes an average of 20-30 days to get your title work processed with the state. When that is completed we mail out everything you need to go to your local BMV. In Indiana you have 45 days from date of purchase to get the the BMV and complete the registration of your new vehicle.

Q: What do I need to take with me to the BMV to complete the registration of my new vehicle?

A: All you need to take to the BMV is your drivers license and proof of insurance!

Q: Why don't you have any new cars?

A: Supply issues during the pandemic limited the production of new cars. During the same time period demand for new cars increased. If you want a new car give us a call and get the process started today!

Q: Does your dealership charge over MSRP?

A: Toyota of Muncie does not and will not charge our customers more than MSRP! We are one of the few dealerships in our area not charging a "market adjustment"!

Q: What interest rate am I going to get when I finance my car?

A: There are many variables that go into figuring your interest rate on a vehicle loan. The biggest determining factors are credit rating, loan-to-value ratio (equity/inequity), previous loan history and term of the loan you are applying for. Q: What is my trade-in worth?

A: We use several tools to put a value on your trade. The easiest way to get a quick value on your trade is by going our home page and clicking the "Value My Trade" banner!

Q: What do I do with a family members vehicle after they pass away?

A: You will need an original copy of the death certificate and the person listed as the informant is needed to sign the necessary paper work. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to give us a call and we will walk you through this delicate process.

Q: Is there a difference between a soft credit pull and a hard credit pull?

A: There are a few companies that do a "soft credit pull" that can give you an estimate of your credit score. But, to get a loan for a vehicle we are required to "hard" pull credit scores and submit your credit application to a lender. Which will result in inquires on your credit profile.
