Engine (Power)
Two engines are available for the Tundra, and they both pack some serious power you can enjoy when behind the wheel. The first engine is an i-Force 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 with a massive 389 horsepower with 479 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough, you can opt for the hybrid version that pairs the aforementioned engine with an electric motor producing 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The key to performance in a pickup truck is in its capability, and the towing and payload limits of the Tundra are certainly impressive. Its maximum towing capacity is 12,000 pounds, while the maximum payload capacity is 1,940 pounds when properly equipped. If you choose the hybrid engine, the capability limits are a bit less but are still impressive with a maximum towing capacity of 11,450 pounds and maximum payload capacity of 1,680 pounds.
Interior
While the interior of the Tundra is utilitarian and aesthetically pleasing no matter which option you choose, the 1794 Edition has an array of unique interior features including wood accents. In terms of technology, the standard infotainment screen is 8 inches, but you can upgrade to a horizontally oriented 14-inch touchscreen if you like, which is larger than all other trucks in its class can offer.
