2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Our 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid certainly has a lot going for it. It’s known for its smooth ride and quiet, roomy interior; the 2016 overhaul added nicer materials and improved controls to the mix. The 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a battery pack. This combination produces a maximum of 200 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) delivers that power to the front wheels. During testing, it accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, a quick time for a hybrid midsize sedan. The fuel economy is a spectacular 41 mpg combined (43 city/39 highway).

2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

It turns out that the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is more than just the most fuel-efficient vehicle in its class; it's also the most fuel-efficient all-wheel-drive hybrid vehicle you can buy. Fitted with a hybrid powertrain, the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid delivers 33 mpg combined, which is 8 mpg more than a regular all-wheel-drive 2016 Toyota RAV4. Interestingly, it also accelerates from a standstill to 60 mph about a second quicker than its non-hybrid brother and provides nearly as much total cargo space. Wondering what’s powering this incredible vehicle? The powertrain consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, electric motors front and rear, a nickel-metal hydride battery pack and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). In total, this pairing develops a combined system that produces a maximum of 194 horsepower.

2016 Toyota Prius

If you are looking for the most fuel-efficient car you can buy, then you’ve come to the right place. Say hello to the fully redesigned 2016 Toyota Prius. The new 2016 Toyota Prius is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and a pair of electric motor/generators. Their outputs are blended in a unique electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (CVT) that generates a maximum of 121 horsepower to the front wheels. Light to moderate braking transforms one of the electric motors into a generator to keep the hybrid battery topped up. The 2016 Toyota Prius gets 52 mpg combined, while it’s brother the 2016 Toyota Prius Eco gets a whopping 56 mpg combined.
