Just when you think you’ve run out of superlatives to describe the Toyota brand’s success, along comes a sales month like May 2018, and with it a few more reasons to rave about the inherent excellence found in every Toyota vehicle.
In a month full of highlights, two in particular stand out. One is that Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) achieved its best-ever May light-truck sales, and the other is that the Toyota Highlander, one of the finest midsize SUVs in the world, set a new record for May sales. And while the Toyota Highlander played a big role in TMNA’s outstanding light-truck success, a few other vehicles made big contributions: specifically, the Toyota Tacoma, whose year-over-year sales were up 21 percent, and the Toyota 4Runner, which posted an almost seven percent increase in sales compared to May 2017.
If you’re thinking of buying a Toyota Highlander at our local Toyota dealership, all we can say is “wise move”. And not just because of its exceptional May – no, we approve of this decision because of all that the 2018 Toyota Highlander offers: a cabin that’s perfectly designed for families, a quiet ride, plenty of exterior and interior style, and of course, lots of standard advanced safety tech courtesy of the Toyota Safety Sense suite.
On the other hand, if your typical milieu is somewhere rocky, dusty, and quite possibly muddy, you may want to discuss a Toyota 4Runner with our Toyota dealers serving Richmond, IN. This rugged vehicle is the prototypical body-on-frame SUV, blending truck-like durability with terrific configurability and equipment choices. Another choice is the Toyota Tacoma, whose accolades have been sung far and wide. It’s not America’s best-selling light-duty pickup truck for nothing.
Toyota vehicles are hotter than ever. Stop in today for a test drive!
