2016 Toyota Rav4 Provides Ample Room For Drivers

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016

Additional space in a compact size is a great feature to have for a family vehicle and the 2016 Toyota RAV4 definitely delivers those requirements and more – all for a sensible manufacturers-suggested retail price.

The 2016 RAV4 All Wheel Drive 4-Door LE SUV is a great vehicle for urban and suburban life. With its compact size, the model is easy to park in most any environments, something that’s appealing to many drivers, especially those who fear the dreaded parallel parking maneuver (like me). When you’re hauling around family and all the necessaries of family life, such as toys, groceries, yard accessories, such as bags of mulch and more, and yes, even family members, the RAV4 is one of the best choices out there.

Come visit Toyota of Muncie and check out the models we have on our lot. We think you’ll be pleasantly pleased with the new aesthetic and streamlined design the 2016 model has.

The 2016 RAV4 All Wheel Drive 4-Door LE SUV includes an incredibly generous amount of cargo space. At 73.3 cubic feet, that’s one of the largest spaces in compact SUB models. Not only can you pack a lot into the rear cargo area, the RAV4 includes a “low load floor,” which makes it fairly easy to put those heavier items in without straining your back too much.

In addition to excellent space, the model also has a decent amount of power in its engine. The 2016 Toyota RAV4 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 176 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. The model can go from zero to 60 in about nine seconds. In addition to acceptable engine performance, the 2016 RAV4 AWD LE has earned an exceptional reputation for fuel economy. The model receives 25 miles per gallon in combined driving, 22 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway.

2016 Toyota Prius Wows Big Game Fans With Longest Chase Commercial

Saturday, February 13th, 2016

By now everyone has most likely seen the fantastically entertaining Toyota Prius commercial, The Longest Chase, showing a group of bank robbers having to rely on stealing a Prius model from a random driver after their getaway car has been towed. The Super Bowl commercial showed the four thieves that the 2016 Toyota Prius is more than just a fuel efficient car. It’s also a model that has sufficient power and performance to elude police in a cross country chase. The successful commercial launched the #gopriusgo campaign online, which gave the chance for some social media users to have their Tweets featured in a post-game spot sponsored by Toyota.

If the Longest Chase commercial got you thinking about the need to own a Prius, then be sure to visit Toyota of Muncie and take a look at the various models on our lot, including the 2016 Toyota Prius V Five-Door Wagon Three. The new Prius V (which stands for versatility) Wagon is wider and longer by a good six inches, which provides about 60 percent more cargo space than previous Prius models. The new Prius V Wagon, a five passenger vehicle, has 34 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, but when folded down that space expands dramatically to almost 68 cubic feet, which is about the size of some smaller SUVs, increasing the attractiveness of the vehicle. The center console opens to reveal a large bin that can store numerous items. In addition to the plentiful cargo space, there’s plenty of headroom for taller drivers, or parents leaning in to strap children into car seats.

If this Prius model sounds like the car you want to take on a cross country mission, then come visit Toyota of Muncie and take a look at the new 2016 Toyota Prius V Five-Door Wagon Three.

Toyota landed time for a commercial called “Heck on Wheels” during the most viewed television event of the year, Super Bowl 50. The 90-second television spot highlights the features of the all-new Prius. The teaser touts the hybrid leader’s upgraded performance, fresh suite of safety technology features, and sleek new styling. This will be the fifth consecutive year Toyota has run a commercial during the Super Bowl.

The commercial, which Toyota released online before the game, shows a bearded man leaving for work in his Prius model calling it “hybrid-mayhem” due to how many miles he can drive on little gasoline. It’s an incredibly peppy commercial that is sure to have people talking about it and the Prius model for days to come.
