Redesigned Toyota Tacoma in Muncie, this October!

Japanese automaker, Toyota, promises to indulge drivers in a lot of new and redesigned vehicles this year. Among the many models undergoing a facelift for the 2012 model year, is none other than the Toyota Tacoma expected to hit Toyota of Muncie's showroom floors, this October.

Primarily superficial, Toyota's updates to the 2012 Tacoma will not impact the pickup's powertrain. Rather, changes are being made solely to the exterior- and interior design

We all know that Toyota is coping with below-normal production levels, these days.  As such, the Japanese automaker, has ordered non-production days, while their suppliers are recovering from this spring devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Toyota Names 500 Finalists in "100 Cars for Good" Program

Aiming to mobilize deserving nonprofits, Toyota Motor Company invited qualifying organizations to apply to the "100 Cars for Good" program via their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/toyota), from March 7-21. Toyota Earns Three More Consumer Reports Awards

We're happy to report Toyota has successfully resumed production at all of its facilities in Japan, for the first time since the quake-tsunami disaster struck on March 11.  However, as the world's top automaker continues to struggle to secure approximately 150 different types of auto components, the plants will operate only at half capacity.
