The Boys and Girls Club of America Receives Holiday Gift from Toyota

Toyota fans in the Muncie area do a good job of keeping up with new Toyota models and vehicle specs. However, Toyota of Muncie would like to bring to light some of the activity that may not be on your radar. As part of its "Making Life Easier for YOUth" initiative, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) has given an extra special holiday gift to The Boys & Girls Club of America.
Those who follow our Toyota of Muncie blog know Toyota is no stranger to partnerships in the realm of community service. Following in its own generous footsteps, the automaker teamed up with ADESA and Norwalk Auto Auctions to raise a total of $302,620 in funds split between Boys and Girls Clubs across the nation. How did they muster up the money? By making use of their number one asset of course. For every Toyota model sold through one of the two auto remarketing firms, the automaker put $50 towards the cause. In addition, ADESA and Norwalk also pledged $15 to $25.
Most consumers don't need outside motivation to purchase models like the Toyota Camry or Toyota Corolla because the innovation, safety and quality found in each vehicle speaks for itself. However, we know that others would agree in saying it's comforting to know you're putting your trust in a company that truly cares about the community.
Affirming the Toyota spirit, Mike Reid, National Remarketing Manager at TFS, says, "I'm incredibly proud to work for an organization that recognizes the need to assist youth, especially those in under-served communities."1.
As you progress into the New Year, Toyota of Muncie at 3311 N Nebo Muncie, IN 47304 encourages you to consider helping those in your community as well. To find out more about future Toyota initiatives such as this one, feel free to drop by and talk with our team members in person.
