Brand New or Five Years Old, Toyota Models Retain Value

It's one thing for a vehicle to break into the spotlight immediately upon release. It's quite another for the model to maintain that glow throughout several years of wear and tear. According to a recent study done by Kelley Blue Book (KBB), Toyota shows some serious staying power. The automaker was given the honor of top brand for Kbb.com's "Best Resale Value Awards."

Each year, the venerated vehicle valuation company determines which automotive companies deliver models that show high value retention throughout the first five years of ownership. So why was Toyota selected as number one? Let's take a look at some of the automaker's individual products. A long-time best-seller, the Toyota Camry grabbed the top slot for best resale value within the mid-size car segment while the Toyota Tacoma performed equally as well in the compact pickup category. Both models display an uncompromising standard of efficiency, performance and durability.

Speaking on the recent awards, Bob Carter, Group VP and General Manager, says, "Winning the top brand in the Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards is a very significant honor as it reflects Toyota's commitment to quality, dependability and reliability, which ultimately adds up to great value."1

In light of the recent awards, Toyota of Muncie would like to point out that any Toyota model you find in our used car section is guaranteed to provide the same great quality and value found in our new Toyota lineup.
